One presentation details the implementation and outcomes of a DISAG project, "iPad Evaluation for teaching and project work", which was carried out in the Dept. of Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering in 2010/11.
The evaluation criteria included the following; Teaching Delivery, Teaching Support, Student Projects and Online Assessment. The lessons learned from the project are presented and future potential developments are discussed.

Enhancing international student experience with innovative assessment and feedback using Peermark and Grademark

This seminar explores the use of Turnitin 2 Peermark and Grademark to enhance the learning experience of international students studying postgraduate Economics modules at the Faculty of Business and Society. The pedagogical approach to designing the peer review will be outlined, the process of embedding Peermark in the module will be discussed and the responses of students will be reported. The results of an online survey into students’ experiences with the use of TurnitinGrademark will also be reported.
