Blended Learning: Experiences and Insights from the BLU
J233, Treforest campus
Presented by: Mark Russell (Deputy Director -Blended Learning Unit, University of Hertfordshire)
Blended Learning is not about technology. Blended learning is about teaching, assessment, scholarship, reflection, student support, resource provision, collaboration, personalisation and … ultimately, Blended Learning is about learning.
During the workshop Mark will set out a context for the Blended Unit and share some examples of Blended Learning.
This workshop is aimed at colleagues that teach, support and/or assesses students. The so-called early adopters of technology and colleagues that are wanting a little more time (and evidence) to be convinced that technology adds anything to the learning environment will, with an open mind, benefit from the session.
